Innovative UHV Solutions

CreaTec Fischer & Co. GmbH, an esteemed partner established in 1992, is renowned for its pioneering manufacturing of tailored components and systems for ultra-high vacuum (UHV) growth, analysis, manipulation, and evaporation. With a rich experience spanning over two decades, CreaTec excels in designing, constructing, and producing UHV equipment, translating intricate customer concepts into reality. Seamlessly adapting effusion cells, manipulators, and transfer systems to existing setups from any supplier is a skillful art mastered by CreaTec.

Exploring New Frontiers

CreaTec's relentless commitment to innovation is evident through a series of groundbreaking products, including Linear Shutters, TUBO Effusion Sources, MiniMBE Systems, Control Software, and Optical Access to STM/AFM Scanner heads. Their consistent engagement with customers, potential buyers, and partners allows them to seamlessly integrate the latest scientific insights into their offerings. Collaborative partnerships with leading research institutions have yielded several innovations that have now become integral components of their products.

Pioneering LT-STM

Since 2000, CreaTec's low-temperature scanning tunneling microscope (LT-STM) has been a hallmark of their portfolio. This instrument not only excels in nanoanalysis but also empowers precise manipulation of atoms and molecules across temperatures ranging from 4 to 300K.

Derived from their acclaimed beetle-type STM with exceptional spectroscopy capabilities, CreaTec has continually advanced this technology into three distinct scanning probe systems: the 4K LT-STM/AFM, the combined 4K LT-STM/AFM, and the 1K LT-STM/AFM system. These microscopes deliver unparalleled STM, STS, and IETS performance, boasting prolonged LHe hold times, minimal drift rates, and outstanding stability.

Their fully compatible low-temperature atomic force microscope (AFM), introduced in 2007, enables simultaneous measurements of force and tunneling current without interference, utilizing constant frequency or constant height control.

Global Presence

Headquartered in Erligheim near Stuttgart, Germany, their subsidiary dedicated to low-temperature scanning tunneling microscope (LT-STM) equipment resides in the Science Park Adlershof in Berlin. The production, testing, and advancement of all products related to LT-STM/AFM are managed at their Berlin location. Meanwhile, their Erligheim site houses departments encompassing Sales, Purchasing, Administration, Electronics and Design, along with Mechanical and Electrical Workshops, and Cleanroom Assembling.
