RHEED Systems and Components

The Reflection High-Energy Electron Diffraction (RHEED) systems, of our partners Gassler Electron Devices GmbH and CreaTec Fischer GmbH from Germany, are widely used as an in-situ characterization tool in molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) due to their compatibility with the growth process. The main applications are the determination of growth rates and the study of growth dynamics through RHEED intensity oscillations.

We offer a full range of RHEED Systems, from 15kV, 30kV up to 50kV acceleration voltage. All products are designed with the specific requirements of MBE users in industry and research in mind.

To complement the state of the art RHEED instrumentation we offer SAFIRE, a powerful and easy to use RHEED evaluation software. It combines sophisticated evaluation algorithms with extensive opportunities for data representation and documentation.
